Escondido IcePlex Closing?

Rumors are swirling here in San Diego that Iceplex is Closing and for sale. Anyone hear of that yet and could confirm? That will really screw things up here with losing 2 sheets... Where will the Jr. Gulls go? Will the Ducks buy the rink?

Where will CAHA find a worse place to hold State Finals (Vacaville aside)? It's not as if Iceplex was great for spectators, but I guess in the COVID-19 world, only 1 parent would be allowed in anyway.

It's hard to beat KHS rink B for Bantam Tier play.
