Title: Getting a release from a team
Post by: stayfrosty47 on November 18, 2019, 11:52:38 PM
Looking for some advice, I need to get a release from a team, not to go into too much detail, but the coaching is not working out. I paid in full for the season. Will I get a prorated amount back from the club? Anyone go thru this experience before?

We have experienced this. No refunds. Sad but true.

Typically a club will only release your player if you pay in full and move on.  Most clubs will not release your player if there is any balance owed.

My understanding is that you can get a release from the team as long as you do it before December 1st and your fees are prorated. The dates are in a rule book. Your coach can also cut you from a team before December 1st too.
