Good luck to the kings and the Bears. Hope they both make deep runs

Good first day for So Cal teams at Nationals.
Both Bears/JKs coming away with wins.
Congrats !

Was told ducks 16 AAA as well. Nice start
-
Bears won today, as well, and so did the Jr. Ducks 16AAA
-
Bears have a strong team with a strong Goalie...best of luck to them.
Heard that the Bears goalie is going Kings AAA next year...should make for some changes at their club.
-
Their goalie hardly saw any shots today

Ducks 16 AAA & Bears Bantam AA won all their games. Ducks 16 AA and Kings 14 AAA eliminated. Hoping for one CA team to bring national banner and prove "CA Hockey sucks" experts wrong.

So the Bears Goalie would play in the U15 KINgs AAA team ? Is the U14 Kings/Ducks going to stay for the U15 or jump to U16 ?
i guess people will see in a few weeks.

Watched Bears vs NJ this morning. NJ went up 3-0 late in the second. Bears called time out and scored 4 stright to go up 4-3.
Then in the 3rd just destored them final 8-3 Bears.

Saw that the Bears lost 7-2 on Sunday. They went up over their opponent, 11th ranked Skaneateles, 2-0 in the first. After that, they had were called for 5 straight penalties, and couldn't solve the goalie the rest of the way out, despite putting up 38 shots to 24.

Wow, looks like Skaneateles' #19 had his way with the Bears defense and goalie. 4 full strength goals and an assist. Would have been interesting if these two teams could have played a few more games against one another during the season. Congrats to the Bears for making it that far.

I watched the live stream of that game. It looked like the Bears ran out of gas after ten minutes, having played strong for 3 1/2 days. Skaneateles found their legs after a slow start and then out-skated the Bears for most of the rest of the game, but they also had a few forwards and a goalie for which the Bears had no answer. Skaneateles went down to defeat today. Congrats to the Bears for making a great showing this year. It's a tough tournament.

Congrats to the Bears for a deep run. Goes to show how truly difficult it is to be National Champs.
