Title: Feeling Blue

So The California "Golden" Bears have decided to change their colors to Blue. That's right Blue. No longer Black and Gold but instead the diverse Colors of the Kraken. SMH.
I can hear the Name calling now
California Blue Bearries
Team Charmin
The Care Bears of California


I just hope the free Golf membership is worth the ridicule.

At the risk of injecting practicality into this, the Bears have a AAA program now, and like any number of other clubs, have some rebranding to do, which includes having tier1 Jerseys that will be different than Tier2.    They decided to drop the "Golden" from the name, and go with "California Bears."  They have had tournament teams in the past that went with a different color scheme, so this is actually nothing new for them.

I completely agree with Rebranding the Tier -1 team. As for dropping the "Golden" and replacing it with Blue??  I'm not sure how that makes sense to practically anyone.
