Title: AA
Post by: Hackey11 on September 06, 2022, 09:51:37 AM
Most of SoCal stayed local for labor day. OCHC(2) aka Ice Dogs won in Valencia and the Jr Ducks(1) won in Anaheim. It doesn't look like there were many blowouts in either tournament unless your the reign.

Who will be the top 5 teams this year.  I'd say that OCHC(2) and the Ducks(1) are looking strong.  Wave(1) and Flyers(1) looking good too.

Hard to tell. I would guess the Bears will be the top team. They are the only team that is mostly intact from Bantam AA last year and they held their own against the mostly 07 teams last season. They are big and pretty talented.

The 08 teams are pretty washed out due to the extra AAA teams. We watched the Ducks 1 vs Wave 1 final at the tournament. Granted it was on olympic ice and very early in the season, but very average hockey for sure. Nothing like the top AA teams and games from last season. Could be pretty wide open this year.  The Northern California teams might have a chance since they did not lose a bunch of AA talent to extra AAA teams but I have not heard anyting about them yet.

I've looked at some of the Bears scores this year and they appear to be really strong.  They were a strong and big team last year as well.  They should be in the top.  Not sure about the Northern Cali thing.  Doesn't look like they faired well at the Valencia tournament.  Looking forward to the first CAHA weekend to see where everyone stacks up.

Play - in weekend coming up. Who do you have making it in? Any sleepers?

Conference-1
Kings (2), Wave (2), Heat & Gulls

Conference-2
Goldrush, Kings (1), SDIA & Flyers (2)

My Guess- Kings (2) & Wave (2) - Goldrush & SDIA

No conferences for play-in weekend. So teams with 2 wins advance regardless of which conference they started in. I would assume Goldrush & Kings 2 both go 2-0 & advance. Then the remaining soots will be Kings1 v Flyers2 & then Oilers v Wave2 for the remaining 2 spots. My guess would be:

Goldrush
Kings 1
Kings 2
Oilers

I agree with Kings(1) and Kings(2) not sure on the others. Kings(2) are a decent lil team. Should be an interesting weekend.

Kings1 & Goldrush advance today. Will find out tomorrow which other 2 teams advance. Kings1 v Kings2 went to a shootout.

Brutal the last CAHA weekend is after a 2 week break for clubs. The leadership of CAHA and SCAHA is absolutely brutal.

Then the remaining soots try best fat burner for men (https://www.outlookindia.com/outlook-spotlight/best-fat-burners-2023-for-men-women-unbiased-reviews-of-six-top-notch-supplements-out-there--news-250488) will be Kings1 v Flyers2 & then Oilers v Wave2 for the remaining 2 spots. Are these type of conferences discontinued now?
