Just for Goalies / LOOKING FOR PEEWEE TENDERS (12U)
« Last post by Rhino on April 08, 2023, 06:37:25 PM »WHY split time with another goalie when you can be playing full games. The more time you spend in between the pipes and the more shots you face, the better you will become.
Looking for 12U goalies (2011, 2012, or possibly a very big/skilled 2013 to play up) Male or Female....just have to be willing to stand in front of a goal and have large amounts of vulcanized rubber propelled in your general direction
Teams play out of the Iceoplex in Simi Valley. 12A and a 12B goalie spot open for local Memorial weekend tournament and also looking for the travel season. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

That has been a long time coming. Anyone have a list of what orgs and age levels were awarded teams last year? Seem like more to be but I could be misremembering. Will be interested to see how many of those that were awarded AAA teams actually choose to field them.
Anaheim Jr. Ducks (all age divisions)
Los Angeles Jr. Kings (all age divisions)
San Jose Jr. Sharks (all age divisions)
Tr-Valley Blue Devils (all age divisions)***
Ontario Jr. Reign (all age divisions)
California Wave (12U and 14U divisions only)

For the 13u, maybe it's just a mental transition to drive everyone to the high school league the following year, as they will be used to having a few good players and a bunch of not so good players, all on one team!
From what I understand all clubs are trying to field teams in these 7 team divisions! Every 2010 and 2006/2005 left in the state will be a AAA player! Well done CAHA! If you thought last years AA division struggled, just wait!

« Last post by Ice-o-Matic on March 28, 2023, 06:41:03 PM »I was looking on the stats for this forum -- there are participation stats for back to 2010. The high year in number of posts was 2012 with 8,124 posts for all hockey/age levels. In 2019 there were 2,031. As late as 2017 there were 5,447. In 2022, there were 134 total posts -- for ALL age levels and ALL topics. I doubt it has anything to do with "junior isn't going to make the NHL." Seems like people are just not feeling it.
