With only 7 teams I guess they're playing for the bye week in the playoffs

I thought I did "SAY"  My inquiry was how you came to the conclusion, which you answered by the insight of knowing the Kings have played together prior to this PRE season.  With playing just the ONE game, as stated when GameByNumbers created the ranking board, I wasn't sure how a Kings team could be your 'top dog' but it makes sense now that you know as much.  Advantage Kings for being together longer than most teams prior to the 2016-2017 season.  I haven't heard much from any other teams, but I guess we're on the same page.

No it's a forfeit! Seems a trend has started. I recall the same thing happening last year in squirt A. Haha!

Because you can't develop a Squirt team locally.  Ontario is the closest place for any real competition. Good Grief, they are 9.

Good luck to both JR kings teams playing in London this weekend. Showcasing California hockey and raising money for the Ronald McDonald House!

according to the tournament website... JrKings (ATOM) tied one game and won one 3-2.  the JrKings (MinorATOM) group lost both games 2-3, then 7-6.  what a great opportunity for the JrKings program and the young players to be in Canada.  hopefully they get up to Toronto for the WorldCup when it's done.

Squirt A went 1-3, 3 very tight one goal games and got blown out by London.   Overall great experience and great time had by all.  Bummer to lose two one goal games but they showed they can compete with some of the top teams in Canada.  Should have won both of those games but penalties were a factor in both.  We will be back next year.

It's not about development, it's about seeing how you compare to top competition from other regions. In other words, about measuring the development.
