ADHSHL 2018 / 2019

So any early predictions... Who has the best returning team?  Who will challenge for the league championship?

Ok so JSerra and THA are the odds on favorites this year. Santa Margarita is a distant third...  Any thoughts?

I'll offer.  Top 4 in no particular order.

JSerra - two of the top players in the league (1 F and 1 D).  They'll have to carry the team.  Solid goalie.   

THA - will be good if their Prep team kids play on the ADHSHL team also.  If not....TBD. 

SM - Still have several AAA players.  Picked up two high level Sophomore transfers.  Tough to beat if they all play.  Top level coaching. 

Damien - Don't sleep on Damien.  Competitive with a fairly young team last year.

THA will have separate teams this year. They will not be having  Prep players on the HS team. They have already pretty much split the teams. PREP team will be in San Jose Labor Day and HS team will be I. El Sugundo.

I understand that THA has a prep team that is in the NAPHL.  Are there any other ADHSHL teams in the NAPHL?

My opinion...not that it matters.


D1 will be competitive with SM leading the way.  They're always a beast with or without the AAA players.


TH is always a sleeper, look what they did at the end of last season.


JS will probably have the #1 scorer in the league with solid net minding and D.


DHS was a young squad last year, but returns one of the top scorers from the league and solid net minding.


OLU lost some talent from last year.  Not sure how they'll pan out.


Bellarmine also lost their top scorer but still had some pretty good skaters.


St. Mary's...I heard they have former tier players from Sharks and Blackhawks.  2 really competitive tier programs (But it's all gossip)


Should be a fun year!  Good luck to all the teams!

I know one of the THA teams will be playing some 18 AA teams in SJ this coming weekend. We'll see how they do.

I can't find a website that has the San Jose schedule for this weekend. Do they have one like the Kings do for their Tinseltown tournaments?

I did some internet magic  :D  and found this website: https://stats.sharksice.timetoscore.com/display-schedule?league=18. It has this weekend's tier games at San Jose.
