Stayfrosty, it depends on the club and your reasons for leaving and, well, you and your attitude. Most clubs will give you the release with no problem. However, depending on the club, they'll usually keep your money based on the contract you signed. If you go to another team within the club, it's very rarely a problem and money just transfers over. If club accepts your reasoning for asking for full release, they may prorate and give you refund. That's very rare, but if it's a coaching problem, they may give it to you. Most times though, you're on the hook for the full season with the original club and then can hope for discount at the new club. The reason I included it depends on you and your attitude is I've seen people with legitimate gripes get denied refunds or full releases because they were the problem parents. If you're "that guy," you may get screwed. Good luck to you.
