Rinks closing in California / CAHA response
« on: July 03, 2020, 04:11:30 PM »
Do we know what CAHA's response is to all of the rinks shutting down? 5 1/2 sheets here in Socal are gone...I heard a rink up north closed as well. For a growing sport we should be adding more not losing them. I get that each have their own reasons / causes, but just curious if anyone knows how CAHA is responding to this. Not expecting them to buy them ($15mm for Valencia!), but they must be involved in the process to try to keep them afloat? What about trying to manage ice slots for clubs who have no home?
