Most of the Squirt A teams were in the Anaheim tourney for Labor Day.  Seemed like all the teams were competitive except The Mariners.  Any teams stand out?  Where did Jr Kings play for Labor Day?  I saw Bears played against BB teams so can't judge that performance.

I watched the Bears play the Jr Sharks 06 Squirt A team for the Championship, which they won and also noticed on online they beat them during pool play 6-2. I guess everyone will have a better idea after this weekend!  :-X :-X

Word on the street is that the Mariners are dropping down... which leaves only 8 teams in Squirt A... which means all the teams have made the playoffs!  So congratulations to all the teams!  :o

It will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Looks like we have a lot of parity among the top 6 or 7 teams.

Didn't hear that, but would be nice to have a few more teams. It certainly won't be a two horse race like last year... should know more by the end of the preseason. Ought to be tight all around, though. Kings/Artesia game this weekend should be interesting.

Anyone see the Kings/Artesia Wave game?  Are the Kings that strong or did the Wave have an off game.  Thought it would have been a bit closer game.

Also, surprised Ice Dogs only won by 2 against the Ontario Wave.  Ice Dogs are starting off slow it seems, they have some firepower but not scoring much yet.

Didnt see the game, but the Kings are fast and skilled and deep. Going to be a handful for everyone all year.

Agree on the Ice Dogs. Despite winning the Anaheim Memorial Day tournament, they seemed to struggle a bit over Labor Day tournament. It's still very early, though. They'll get it going. Lots of talent.

Final of Ice Dogs game was 12-0, 13-0, something like that.  SCAHA site is not correct, or not yet updated to reflect final score.
