Artesia beat Gulls 4-2? Better hold off on those April flight plans to San Jose... this season looks wide open!

Definitely wide open.  Artesia lost to Kings 5-2, Kings lost to Gulls 5-1 and Gulls lost to Artesia 4-2...  Its going to be a dog fight.

Artesia did play a great game! It is was a close one with both teams working hard, it was 3-2 with a minute left in the game and the Gulls pulled the goalie and the Wave hit the empty net.

Great job Artesia! No shame for the Gulls. It's going to be a great season.

I heard ID SJ goalie didn't come down and their other goalie sick.  Not a bad showing if that's the case.  JMO

No goalie in one net throws both teams off.  What a bummer for both teams.  Especially during preseason.

The LeBlancs also help to coach others during the game. “If the teenage referees make a ‘bad call,’ we point it out to the officials immediately and very loudly — sometimes face-to-face — so they have an opportunity to improve,” they said. “We regularly inquire as to whether the referees have a visual disability, whether they are awake, if they are acquainted with the game of hockey and the rules of the game, as well as asking how they fit their entire head inside of their own ass. In the end, I truly believe that the refs enjoy our honest and frank feedback on their performance.”
