Does anyone know the score of the A. Waves/ Ice Dogs? Ducks 2/ Kings was a good game. We used our size in the 1st period to overpower them, in the 2nd and 3rd their speed was to much for us. Plus their goalie was lights out!!!! Heard the Gulls beat the Bears 6-3.

If that's the outcome of the A. Waves/Ice Dog game, I would rank the Ice Dogs at 4th in a half. Lol if the score is wrong I will adjust accordingly. Since all the games are over we might as well look at next weekend. The Ducks 2/ Gulls game will be a pick'em. Waves/ Ducks 1 should also be entertaining. Goalie_dad give us a early ranking and spread.

I was definitely impressed w the Ducks 2 team today... much more focused group and tougher opponent than the preseason meeting between  the Jr kings

Looks like only one interesting game next weekend.  Here are the early lines.  Rankings out in a few days.

Jr Ducks (2)  v. Jr Gulls            Jr Gulls by 1
Wave-Ont (2)  v. Ice Dogs (1)    Ice Dogs by 5
Wave-Art (1)  v. Jr Ducks (1)    Wave (Art) by 4
Jr. Kings  v. Bears                    Jr. Kings by 3

Thank Goalie_dad, can anyone confirm the scores of the other two games today. The Ducks 2 might beat the Gulls. At least I'm hoping so. It will be to heavyweights. It's a game with a lot of size.

Next week's lines so early! How exciting. We have a whole week to debate. Seem pretty close. Duck (2) v. Gulls will be good. Ducks (2) could definitely win.

It will be fun, as soon as Goalie_dad ranks the teams and the Ice Dogs aren't ranked where they should or shouldn't be some feathers will be ruffled. Lol the Ducks 1 may shock the A. Waves.

Doubt it. Artesia has too much fire power. Might be close until 3rd... until the better team always pulls away.

It won't be close.

Spoken like a A. Waves dad. Lol, the firepower consist of one strong player and another that wants to be the man. But hates being touched let alone contact. The short bench will eventually catch up to the Waves.

I'm being realistic about the teams abilities.  You disagree with Wave by 4?  What's your line?

I unfortunately agree but I'm hoping for a miracle. Lol maybe the Ducks play a exceptional game and the Waves don't. I know it's a really long shot.

At this level, a short bench is often an advantage. Better a tired 1st or 2nd line on the ice than an ineffective 3rd line that can't create their own shot... but HAVE to play because they're paying good money and the coach needs that skate clinic money.

That's why our team is also looking for a Corporate sponsor so we can save our money for clinics or private lessons. But we just want the sponsorship not their opinion or control, I couldn't resist. Lol
