The Miller Toyota Anaheim Jr Ducks does have a nice ring to it.

I wouldn't complain, if you have a contact person or a lead I can follow up with I will place the calls tomorrow. I'm sure I can convince the Executive Board to consider it. Lol

What exactly is the rationale for Wave first?  Kings defeated them twice, and they defeated kings once.  Gulls also exchanged wins with both Kings and Wave......Would your child happen to play for the wave?

I think it is close between Wave and Kings but Wave have regular season win vs. Kings.  Kings have preseason win and scrimmage win vs. Wave.

Wave are very slightly ahead of Kings.

Goalie_dad I totally agree with you. That being said if you compare the two I would prefer to play the Waves instead of the Kings. But they are both solid teams, the Kings are just after and a better coached team with a lot of speed.

Top 3 seem pretty interchangeable right now... with Ducks (2) and Ice Dogs right there.  What ever happened with the Ducks (1) v. Ontario game this weekend? I'm guessing Ducks (1)... but the question is if they covered the line.

Tommy, The Bomber - I can see your plea for your child athlete, and best of luck with the sponsorship as well.
Sunday's scoresheet shows the Jr Ducks2 outshot the Jr Kings 29-14 and yet all you hear about the Jr Kings is their speed and how well they are coached.  On paper, appears they have a great goalie, which I guess can make any coach look good..

Thank, so i guess you don't have a lead for me. I can't speak for them thats just my observation. Their Goalie is really good, that being said their defense also did a great job supporting him and all their front line back checks. My son has been in net for many years and I still havent seen him score. So coaching makes a big difference. I also think our coaches are great. GO DUCKS!!!!

No Ducks/Wave results yet?

If you follow other divisions, you'll notice it's always the same clubs that can't seem to send in their scorecards until Thursday.

Good teams find a way to win. Even when they dont play their best. Sunday wasn't the best showing for the little kings. Regardless, they got the w.

Go Kings_26 , you are completely correct. A win is a win and I give them credit for that.

All teams make the playoffs ..... what will matter  is where everyone falls at the end of the season. It's gonna come down to seeding, matchups and believe it or not coaching as part of the team philosophy. Rolling the lines? Might not win.... shorten bench might win but players miss out on Development opportunities .... play goalie #2 ??? ? Or ride your #1 goalie??? coaching in playoffs plays a huge role...

Teams will rise and fall, will get better, upsets will happen , parents will complain about icetime ... just part of the process ...

Ducks (1) beat Ontario 7-3. Probably doesn't change much... but Ontario seems to be playing better.
