Other than the Kings, who has an 07 goalie?

Did anyone catch the Kings game? Did they play the well or did the Bears play that bad?

The Bears goalie made a ton of saves and was under duress the entire game.  The Bears opened up with a beautiful  goal early in the first period.  After that, it was all Kings.  I'd be interested in seeing how many shots were registered.  I'm guessing that the Kings put up at least forty shots total.  Had the Kings shot better (we missed a lot of shots high and wide) it might have been worse.  That said, Kings' speed carried the day.

There are a few other 07 goalies around the BB circuit.... my guess is based on Brick history and lack of size and depth locally at least one of the goalies will be selected from out of town.

Goalie_dad, we need next week's lines and rankings. The only interesting game will be the Ducks2 / Ice Dogs. The others are pretty much final already.

In related sports news, the college football season has been scrapped today as Alabama is clearly the best team in the nation and no one will ever beat them... because the best team always wins. Always.   :o

Getting a bit overconfident, aren't we?

Goalie_dad, I was wondering why the Tide were planning their parade already. Sometimes even the best loss but in saying that it's also rare. No disrespect intended to any clubs. When we play the Gulls, Ice Dogs, and Kings as long as we work hard anything is possible. But I also know that if their also on their A game they are really difficult to beat. I'm a realist!!!!

Ducks (EK) and Ducks (Runtso) have one '07 goalie each I think.  I don't know of any others.

The Tide are lucky they played USC at the beginning of the year.  Result would have been much different now.  If only Darnold would have started from the beginning of the season...

Goalie_dad, your going to get a lot of grief for saying the Ducks 1 will beat the Ice Dogs. Some people are sensitive about the Ice Dogs not being added to the top four. Lol cant wait to see the Gulls or Kings against the A. Waves to see who will knock them off their perch.

Ducks (2) are playing Ice Dogs, not Ducks (1). And Duck (2) will likely win. Might be close, though. Ice Dogs are better than early season performance. Other lines look low. Gulls, Kings, and Artesia could all win by more.

What happened with Ice Dogs v. Ontario Wave last weekend, by the way? It's Wednesday and the team manager from Ontario appears to still be walking the stat sheet  from Ontario to the SCAHA headquarters.  ???

Dogs won, 8 - 0.  Wave played better than the score suggests; they are coming together quickly.

Not to get too preachy, but this is straight from the SCAHA Guidelines.  It's my understanding that as soon as the scoresheet is entered, it is available on the site.  I wonder if that SCAHA cash register has rung once.

"For A/B teams, the home club is responsible for the distribution of the scoresheets. The home club must enter all game statistics and upload a legible scanned copy of the scoresheet on the SCAHA website by 10pm of the following Monday after the game date. Clubs failing to complete the scoresheet procedures will be warned by the League Statistician. Upon second notification, the club will be assessed a $50 fine per late scoresheet."
