Goalie dad were you able to watch the game? ... I was able to tune in so let me throw some stuff at you ....Olympic ice .... at no point did the Jr Ducks ever dominate, they had to switch their top goalie for a BB player pretty embarrassing, Jr kings looked flat, that's a good sign for the rest of us... horrible refs and a Jr Ducks loss ..keep counting those L as the weekend goes on ... the Jr Ducks trying to throw a huge BRICK in front of a Jr kings freight train to showcase talent that just isn't there ...... choo choo!!! Let's all join the Jr Ducks Brick 07 team with a WAVE salute!

I expected better from the Kings.  They have been playing together for a while now and played a "Ducks" team just thrown together in the last few weeks.  "Ducks" obviously have talent but Kings should have won by a few goals at least.

Great analysis:  Don't forget the 1 goal for the ref!  Ducks kid kicked in the first one, but unfortunately the 3rd ref was still in the restroom!

Based on this, I am thinking the Gulls will win all their games.  The Dallas team is a good team...

Goalie_dad, so are you readjusting your prediction since the new development with the Gulls and Stars. After the last update on the Ducks Kings game. I had to use my Texas Instrument Calculator for the average. So the Ducks really scored 2.5 goals in that game.

Did you see there were 12 penalties? Yikes. A penalty is a penalty, but that's too much. I mean, you could call a tripping or slashing or hooking penalty pretty much every time up and down the ice in a SQW game. I wish the refs would just relax a bit, let them play, and only call the blatant stuff. Nothing more annoying than ticky-tack penalties.

I'm not following anyone's logic regarding the Duck/Wave breakdown. Last time I checked, hockey was a team sport. Plays revolve around the whole line not just who got the goal and as we all know sometimes the whole play was started by the kid who doesn't get the goal or the assist. I'm not saying the Wave players didn't look great, they did and most shifts they did carry the line but there were also three other players on the ice contributing. To say the Ducks only scored 2 goals would only be true if there were no Duck players on the ice when the Wave players scored their goals. For a team without any play prior to yesterday, they didn't look that bad. The Jr. Kings kids should be disaapointed with the game, to be together for as long as they have to have such a close game is tough. They looked fast but I truthfully haven't seen the improvement from preseason that I have with some of the other SCHA teams. JMO

Wow, another disappointing win against the ducks. First the kings, now the gulls.  I hope the kings and gulls can bounce back for tomorrow morning's game.
