Tommy is going to have a heart attack reading that last line.

Bears71, not yet. It's to early to have a heart attack. As long as we're ranked before the Bears I'm happy. Lol

Perhaps on the scoreboard.  Jr. Kings came out in the first five minutes and punched our team in the mouth.  It was fairly even the next 25 or so minutes, but to their credit the JK's played better throughout and deserved the victory.  It was nice to see a game where the ref didn't have to blow his whistle a ton, let the kids play, and didn't miss many calls (except maybe for a missed roughing/boarding call against one of our boys-our kid went in a bit hard and high on a play).

It was an interesting day for Hockey today. An upset and I heard the Kings were on the ropes early but woke up in time to beat the O. Waves..... Gulls treated the Bears 71 like a step child.

Goalie_dad, can we get a preview on next weeks line. The Ice Dogs/Kings game looks like the game of the week. Maybe our partners can also beat the Waves, and hopefully we pull off the upset of the #1 and go on a two game winning streak

Jr Ducks (1) beat Ice Dogs, 3-2.

The Ducks looked great, the last 5 (including Thanksgiving tournament) record is 2-3-1 including wins over Jr Kings and Ice Dogs.  Two of the losses were by 1 goal and the tie was only because Ducks (2) scored with 30 seconds left.  Ducks (1) are improving a lot the last 6 weeks, they should be ranked 5th, ahead of Ducks (2).

Bears71, ever since I've been nice you don't want to come out and play. Lol

TTB, my definition of nice and your definition are extremely different.  I have but two questions for you:

1) Did you see the Gulls/Bears game in person?

If you did, you would know that the final score doesn't always indicate what type of game took place.

2) Do you know how many people on this site have stepchildren or are stepchildren?

You seem to have a mild grasp of the English language; I'd advise you to pull back on the crudeness of your colorful comments.

Bears71, Let me start with this, if I offended you or anyone else on this site with my joke I apologize. There was no ill will intended in regards to that comment. This is a site to have a good time on and not personally attack anyone's family.
I had a friend thats kid plays for the Gulls. I know it was tied at the end of the 1st.

I was a step child and never took this personally. Highly sensitive people may want to consider not participating on this site. Most of us know what you meant TTB

Tommy, you must be mellowing out.  An apology (thank you) and the fact that you haven't puffed your chest out over the win vs. Artesia, what could possibly be next?

Goalie_dad, do the rankings change with the two Ducks victorys. What about the line on the Bears/O. waves game.
Bear71, maybe I will work on curing world hunger.
